Laura and Chris got married at a beautiful waterside location called 1903 Hontoon. Everyone in attendance was mesmerized by the pure love and joy shared by two people and the support of two families in honor of Chris and Laura.

Following a beautiful ceremony, the couple, family and friends danced the night away under the swaying trees and moonlit sky. The day started out with a little rain, but it stopped, just in time for the ceremony and cocktail. The small details of this wedding really made it a unique day.  One friend of the couple ever surprised the bride by playing the guitar and singing for the father daughter dance. The couple was so happy to be surrounded by everyone that is important to them, and we were elated to be able to share in that day with them!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you the newest member of our team. Heather grew up with a passion for the event industry, which has lead her from South Florida to the Central Florida area. Heather is currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida pursuing both a degree in Event Management and Hospitality Management. With the ever growing wedding industry Heather thrives in the fast paced atmosphere with her creative and detail oriented personality. Through opportunities that have allowed her to work in the wedding industry at a younger age then  most, she has found that this is where her true calling lies and couldn’t be more thrilled with the opportunity to work with Swanky I Do’s to continue her growth in the Wedding Industry.

I am so excited for Cathryn and Brett Chetek. Plannng with them was a great adventure. I loved hearing how Brett would describe his vision for the floral and what he wanted to see on their wedding day. It’s not every day you get a groom that is active in the planning process. It was great to have Brett invovled to the very end! Cathryn’s vision for her wedding day was a very modern, classic and romantic soiree. With Cathryn living out of state, her amazing mother was a big player in the planning and helping pull everything togehter. Working with Cindi Benedict on the details was a great experience and a “mother of the bride” all wedding planners could only dream of working with. Thank you Cathryn, Brett and Family for letting Swanky I Do’s be part of your big day!

The Swanky I Do’s! Wedding Planner will work with brides, grooms and vendors while putting together the perfect day.   The ideal candidate will be able to add value and flexibility to budgets, help plan and carry out logistics and see through on all stages of the planning process to ensure a Swanky event.

 Duties

• Conduct Planning meetings & site visits
• Create Custom Budgets & Budget Management
• Refer appropriate vendors
• Contract Negotiations
• Advise on Wedding Etiquette
• Create “Design Boards”
• Coordinate Logistics
• Run Rehearsals
• Team lead
• Set up wedding day

 Qualifications

• 3 years of professional wedding planning experience (comparable event experience considered)
• College education preferred
• Flexible Schedule and easy to access all hours of the day
• Must have personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Accessible via phone or email at all hours of the day
• Must be extremely detail oriented and show proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Must want to have fun and create the perfect wedding day for our clientele

I am so excited to be writing this post. I had the opportunity to stand next to one of my best friends this past weekend as she said “I Do” to the love of her life. This post will have more pictures than we normally post, but I want you to see the beauty in the day and everything we got to experience. Renee did a fabulous job in planning an unforgettable day. With the help of Swanky I Do’s  pulling the final details together and having Van Nugyen run the day, it was a perfect combination for relaxing and stress free day.
